Born in Mexico City in 1970. His path in art began when he entered the San Carlos Academy, leaving aside his law career. The career of Maestro Guillermo Roel throughout his almost 30 years of experience includes a wide range of exhibitions in various countries around the world such as Spain, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, France and Germany , among others.

He has more than 40 individual exhibitions nationally and internationally. He was the first living artist to exhibit individually at the National Museum of Art in Mexico City (MUNAL) in 1998. His production encompasses different media such as painting, video, installation, drawing, photography and sculpture. .
