In the eighties he started painting self-taught. Between 1986 and mid-1989, he studied at the Cultura Cabañas Institute and then continued his studies and pursued his own research through trips to Los Angeles California. He has been a scholar by the State Council for Culture and the Arts twice (1995-1996 and 2004-2005), as well as by the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (1998-1999). He obtained an Honorific mention in the Bienal FEMSA in 2006, as well as inside the Guadalajara Hall that same year. Among the spaces in which he has shown his work are the Gallery of Modern Art, Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara, Casa Vallarta, Ex Convento del Carmen, Raúl Anguiano Museum, and the Cabañas Cultural Institute, among others. In 2008 I present the individual exhibition Bizarro in the Gallery of the Secretary of the Treasury of the city of Mexico. Outstanding exhibitions include those held in 2006 at Beaux Arts in Saint Etienne, France and in 2007 at the Tony Wolfenberger Workshop in Zurich, Switzerland. And the most recent Individual Exhibition "A Mano Armada" At the Zapopan Art Museum in Guadalajara Jal. His work is part of the Collection of the People of Jalisco. Member of the National System of Creators (SNCA) during the period (2014-2016)
